Our housing initiative helps to ensure that low and moderate income citizens continue to have affordable housing and essential social services in the Bayfront Community.
Rental units are available in the lower Bayfront area on an income-based scale.

Senior Citizen Housing
The Alexander W. Thompson Apartment Complex located at 441 West 3rd Street, Erie, PA was designed to enhance the lives of the elderly citizens of the City of Erie, by providing clean, safe, and affordable living arrangements.
Eligibility Requirements
- 62 years of age.

- Outdoor gazebo, self-controlled air conditioning/heating in all units

- Enclosed connector to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Center for support services such as Social Services, Case Management, Food Pantry, and Senior Citizen’s activities.
